Submission Guidelines

Submit here!

Student submissions are due every 15th of the month to be used for the next month’s issue!

  • Length: 1500-2500 words

    • Be specific—always be thinking about the reader and how to get the reader to continue until the end. Make a precise argument without extending the length with additional, unnecessary fluff.

  • Format: MLA 8 or 9 with sources cited in a Works Cited Page.

    • Times New Roman 12 pt font

    • A clear title

  • Graded on Argument and Development 

  • Papers used in classes may be submitted as long as they follow guidelines and demonstrate an interesting topic or argument.

  • Submission Tips

    • Remove the name of the writer from the top of the paper and any headers. Anonymity is essential for our reviewing process.
